Trevor Guess (#9 in the Senior Youth Production Class) passed away from injuries sustained during a crash at Dixieland Speedway on Saturday night 7-12-08.  Memorial contributions may be made at the family’s request to: The Southern ATVA Promoters Group - Trevor Guess Fund, 2706 N NC58, Nashville, NC 27856.  This money will be held in a fund (the Guess family will determine in the near future the exact nature of the fund and it’s use) these monies will not be used for any banquet or series expenses.  God Speed to Trevor, and please everyone viewing this keep the Guess family in your prayers.

We have individual class sponsorship available for every class in the Fall Series, and all classes except 3 in the spring series.  To sponsor a class costs $150, and your name (business name) will be listed on the points sheet as the class sponsor, your name (business name) will be on the class trophies that are awarded at the end of the year banquet, a link to your website will be on the series website, and you can hang banners and distribute/display any promotional material and/or products at both our races and the banquet.  If you are interested in sponsoring a class for either series contact Sean Hess at 757-434-3191 or seanhess@earthlink.net

We will follow all AMA/ATVA rules for racing, conduct, and individual classes (our class availability might differ from the AMA/ATVA GNC EDT series slightly)

We will offer 2 pit bike classes during intermission at each race.  Class #1 will be for 50-110 cc bikes with automatic clutches.  Class #2 will be for 111-150 cc automatic clutch or manual clutch bikes.  All bikes must be pit bikes, no race bikes allowed.  Both classes are for ages 12 and up.  $10 entry fee, no end of year awards will be given, first place trophy awarded in each class.

3 p.m. Sign up will open

4:30 p.m. Practice will start

5:45 p.m. Riders Meeting

6:00 p.m.  Heat races start

All amature and youth classes will run 6 lap heats and 8 lap mains.

Pro Am Production and Unlimited will run 6 lap heats and 12 lap mains

Pro Am 265-450 will run 6 lap heats and 15 lap mains

Entry Fee is $30 per class for each youth and amature classes

Entry Fee is $50 for each Pro Am class

Gate Fees are $10 per adult (12 and up), $5 for under 12, Free for under 4
